1. Light cotton shirt
The weather is constantly hot and humid throughout the year. It would be wise to pack light cotton shirts. Even t-shirts can be kind of heavy and unsuitable since you'll most probably sweat alot. Change your light cotton shirt once a day. You can buy cheap shirts here, but size maybe a problem as asians are smaller, plus you wouldn't want to waste too much time shopping would you?
2. Footwear
Bring sandals and slippers. If you're a big walker, trekking sandals is preferable. If you're planning to hike in the jungle, or go clubbing at night, bring good closed shoes.
3. Cap
Sunlight can be strong. A cap might be a good idea. Sunglasses would help alot as well.
4. Handkerchief
As you might be sweating all day long, a handkerchief or tissue may come in handy.
5. Light sweater
Buildings are often airconditioned. If you're travelling by bus or train, the airconditioning can get very cold as well. Make sure to pack a light sweater.
Additional note:
Walking in heat and humidity can drain you out, causing you to be more tired than usual. Always bring a bottle of water. To freshen up, try take showers twice a day.
